ADMISSION PROCEDURE
  • Admissions to all the courses are made purely on the basis of merit following the reservation policy and the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu under single window system.

  • After the declaration of +2 results the filled in forms are submitted to the office.

  • The data collected from the application forms is used to prepare the consolidated database to generate the computerized rank list. The selection list is prepared according to the Government norms.

  • Candidates are informed of their counseling dates on the day they submit their application forms.

  • Students who come under Special Quota and English Literature students are called for admission on the first day. All the students who have applied for Science subjects are called on the II day. On the third day all the students who have applied for Arts and who have not got admission on the first two days come for admission.

  • On the day of admission all the students who have applied for Literature, Arts and Science are encouraged to come in person and witness the entire admission process along with their parents.

  • The names of the students are read out based on their merit and communities in front of all the students and parents through Public Address System. Software specially prepared for admission is used and the entire admission process is explained through Power Point Presentation.

  • The students are given full liberty to raise objection if they are overlooked.

  • On the date of admission, all the original documents are verified and the candidates are admitted after the payment of fees.

  • UG Admission: A pass in Plus Two (35%) Maximum 100%

  • PG Admission: A pass in the respective course in the UG degree (40%)Maximum 100%

The college admissionis done through the Single Window System. The students are admitted to all courses as per the following reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The entire admission is based on merit cum reservation policy.
